Bisbee's Black and Blue is on in Cabo San Lucas as tropics stay quiet
Bisbee's Black and Blue runs through Saturday, the tropics are calm, and Wednesday brings sun, a high of 92°F and 89°F water.
Tonight's report
¡Buenas noches, Los Cabos! It's Lobo Los Cabos, live from the rock, and tonight's show is presented by Cabo Lifestyle Homes. Black and Blue is on, the tropics are quiet, and the pelicans are already eyeing my dinner. I see you, amigos.
Tropics first, and it's good news, amigos. No storms out there and nothing NHC is watching, as of the eleven a.m. outlook. Enjoy the quiet.
Now, news from around town, and it's a fun one, because the race trucks are coming back to Baja.
Mexico News Daily says Baja one thousand pre-running opens this Saturday, October twenty-fourth. Teams will scout the Cabo to Cabo course up the East Cape and back down the Pacific side.
Expect race vehicles on dirt roads and highways along the route, so drive carefully and give them room. The race starts and finishes on Avenida Centenario, November thirteenth.
Okay, mañana's weather. Grab the sunscreen and find some shade, amigos, it's a warm one.
Wednesday looks sunny, high of ninety-two, low of seventy-four, light southeast wind around seven miles an hour. The water is a warm eighty-nine degrees.
Thursday and Friday go partly cloudy, highs around ninety, lows around seventy-four.
Perfect nap weather on the rock. Now, let's talk pesos.
Peso Check as of today: a U.S. dollar buys about eighteen point five pesos, a Canadian dollar about thirteen point two, both a bit more than last week. Shops and exchange houses in town usually give less, so check first.
Surf check, let's go.
NOAA's wave model shows about two feet at six seconds from the south-southeast tomorrow morning, holding steady.
Spot Check: Pacific side by Cerritos, about one point eight feet. The Corridor at Zippers and Old Man's shows the most, about two feet. East Cape, about one point six.
Remember, those are offshore model numbers, not what's breaking at the beach, so go take a look at your spot before you paddle out.
Fishing is brought to you by East Cape Concierge, eastcapeconcierge.com. Want in on the marlin action this week? They'll line up your fishing charter.
The water is eighty-nine degrees, and tomorrow night brings a waxing gibbous moon, five days from full. With light wind and small swell, the morning looks calm.
And speaking of marlin, here's what's coming up in Los Cabos!
Bisbee's Black and Blue is on right now out of the Cabo San Lucas marina, through Saturday. The scales at the marina are where the action is in the evening.
And Día de Muertos on Playa El Médano starts in eleven days.
Lots going on in Cabo this month, amigos, and the Baja one thousand is right behind it.
